Welcome

The perfect waterside pub located near Arundel

Situated on the banks of the River Arun and only a few minutes’ drive from the A27, with stunning views over the wet lands to Arundel Castle, the Black Rabbit is a perfect example of the quintessential traditional country pub.

In 2016 Hall & Woodhouse spent £700k to preserve the riverbank and keep the jetties usable by pleasure boats and with plenty of outside seating areas directly overlooking the water, the pub is a hive of activity on a perfect summer’s day.

And when winter finally sets in our cosy pub, with its roaring log fires, oak beams and even the boat from the Harry Potter film The Philosophers Stone, provides the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Black Rabbit: Hazel... Hazel... you know me, don't you?

Hazel: I don't know.

[The apparition reveals himself to be the Black Rabbit, and Hazel gasps]

Forum Lager

Introducing Forum, the brand new lager from Hall & Woodhouse.

Forum is a 4.2% refreshing Helles style lager, with a delicate flavour from the Weihenstephan yeast and a subtle fruity lemon character from Hallertau Blanc and Huell Melon hops.

The name refers not only to Blandford Forum, the location of the H&W brewery where this new, exciting lager is brewed, but also to a meeting or gathering where ideas and views can be exchanged.  And where better to meet and put the world to rights than in a traditional British pub, where you can enjoy this refreshing drink with friends and family.

So what are you waiting for, make sure you try a pint next time you visit.
